According to Matthew 8:5-8 (KJV), a centurion approached Jesus as he arrived in Capernaum and begged him, and stating, "Lord, my servant is lying at home, suffering much from palsy." And Jesus promised him that he would be healed when he arrived. Lord, I am not worthy for thee to enter beneath my roof. But speak the word merely, and my servant shall be healed, the centurion replied.
One of the most potent laws in the world of spirits is faith. Its disregard for space and time contributes to some of its strength.
The theme scripture illustrates the faith's ability to overcome obstacles.
Faith, not being physically close to the anointing, is what brings the solutions.
Others who had their hands physically laid on them during prayers for them to be healed did so even though they were far away from the individuals who prayed for them.
What distinguished it? Faith.
Faith has an innate ability to bridge gaps and produce results.
As His children, God has granted us this freedom. Physical boundaries are not a restriction on how we might show the power of God.
To bring about transformation, God does not require proximity. Just why would you? We demonstrate our actual nature as sons of the omniscient and omnipresent God by exercising such liberties!
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for the power of faith at work in me. Thank You because even as the Word comes to me every day, I am stirred to believe You more than ever before. I send a word and people are healed; send a word and deliverance comes; send a word and fix situations because that is my authority, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
