Lyrical Mycheal also known as “LM" is a multi gifted hip hop artist, composer, Producer, actor and fitness model. His musical style is hip-hop influenced, dance oriented afro rap with a lyrical composition that comes deep from the heart demanding a response and a call to action for people from all walks of life.

Although he was good at football and drawing during his school days, from an early age LM made a decision to pursue his passion of music more by song writing and beat making. His music flows from many real life struggles, including overcoming the pain of being born a love child and the shackles of notorious womanising.

LM is committed to being a positive example of how to turn our trials into testimonies. Armed with realness and the strong desire to relevantly make a difference he is dedicated to being the salt to the world.

Most notably LM released high energy hits such as “Wrong Number” (2016), “Pregnant” (2017), ‘Gukubila’ (2018) which received extensive regular radio and TV air play and went on to top numerous urban and contemporary music charts across the country. His success not only grabbing the attention of scores of fans, but also respected deejays and the press around east and central africa, atmospheres which allowed him to take his career and music to the next level.

Christian Micheal Jacobs Omunyokol professionally known as Lyrico Mycal is regarded as one of the most influential creatives in Uganda! Lyrico Mycal founded Wuluguma a youth outreach foundation using music, film and sports and clothing to change young peoples lives.

He is also the founder of Bodyfident, a fitness franchise that gives members of his community opportunities to live a healthy lifestyle by offering affordable and excellent fitness programs. When Lyrico Mycal walks into the room he owns it. He possesses great musicianship and brings a captivatingly unique energy with confidence to the stage.

He is well known for his hit songs such as Gukubila, Niwowe Mbona, Beautiful, and Pregnant most of which have won numerous awards. Most recently the inspiration artist of the year 2021 in the UG Hip Hop Awards. He also won Rap fusion song of the year 2022 in the Royal Gospel Music Awards. Since 2014, Lyrico Mycal has been on successful national and international tours igniting stages at the Pamoja Festival in Bujumbura Burundi.

He has also shared stage with some of Africa’s top musicians on various concerts and events in Uganda including the prestigious Kampala City Festival, Bayimba Festival, Alive in the Park, The Beat Connect, National Passover Festival, Vine Music Awards, Fuse and the Independence Night. Born May 14, 1994 in Kampala, LM started to get to grips with the complexities of Hip Hop in his teens when he discovered Lecrae, NF, Dax and Kendrick Lamar.

At the same time he learned his afro rap craft from African greats like Limoblaze, Cassper Nyovest and GNL Zamba. In Secondary School, Lyrico Mycal played football, representing Mulusa Academy thrice in the Coca Cola National Football Championship. He developed his passion for music between football practices by doing song covers to perform at school parties and talent shows! He completed his diploma in Journalism at YCMA in Kampala and a Degree in Sports Science at Makerere University. He is currently enrolled at the University of Alberta Film School
