TEN WORSHIP SONGS THAT I'D BE OKAY NOT SINGING EVER AGAIN (AND WHY)
You are probably reading this article for one of two reasons: 1) to check if this list includes your Favorite worship music, or 2) to see if this list includes your least Favorite praise song.
Due to its intimate, participatory nature, worship music may be incredibly personal and customized. You might be okay never hearing (let alone singing) a song that I "like" or even adore again, and vice versa.
However, it reminds me of the pastor who had a churchgoer tell him that he didn't enjoy the music that morning after the Sunday service. In response, the pastor said, "Well, what do you think the Lord didn't like about it?"
Here are ten worship songs that, in the words of both my worship leader and myself (and with full disclosure that these are my own opinions), I would be happy to see never again on the PowerPoint screen or Easy Worship.
