Betty Namaganda, a gospel musician, has expressed concern about fellow gospel musicians who sing in bars, claiming that they shame Born-Again Christians because the Bible forbids them from going to such places.
On Saturday, November 26, Namaganda made the remarks at a concert by gospel musician Levixone at Kampala's Kololo Airstrip.
"It's time to talk about musicians who perform in bars." They do not worship God. One gospel singer knelt for a witch doctor named Maama Fiina despite the fact that he is a pastor. "What a shame!" she exclaimed.
Even though Namaganda did not specifically mention Pastor Wilson Bugembe's name, it was clear that she was referring to him.
Maama Fiina has been seen several times with Bugembe.
Many people came out to support Bugembe during his concert at Hotel Africana in June, including the leader of traditional healers, Maama Fiina, which raised some eyebrows.
